"Food has been my passion since I was a young boy and now it is my pleasure to be creating menus for the guests at Lifehouse. My signature dishes are based around my favourite Italian flavours but I make sure that there are always delicious lighter options on menu as well as some classic, seasonal dishes to enjoy."

Born and raised in Italy, Ugo has been working in professional kitchens around the world for 25 years including the Kulm Hotel St Moritz in Switzerland and 10 years with the Belmond Hotel (formally the Orient Express). Over the years, he has developed his own signature style inspired by his first love, the fresh flavours of the Mediterranean. Ugo is now creating delicious menus for Lifehouse using ingredients that are seasonal and sourced locally whenever possible. His creations range from elegant, Italian-influenced dishes to perfectly-prepared classic favourites.
